«slabs, tape, notebook» è un’opera di music-fiction che ruota attorno alla ricostruzione di una scena musicale che non è mai esistita. La mostra che si svolgerà dal 18 al 31 ottobre 2025, presso Artemisia Galleria a Thiene presenta per la prima volta documenti visivi, scultorei, testuali e audio provenienti da questa civiltà immaginaria.
Il progetto, sviluppato inizialmente da Andrea Cera e Christophe Kihm, esplora la dissoluzione della “Persona Musicale” nella cultura digitale.
«slabs, tape, notebook» può essere considerata come un’evoluzione del formato “concept album”, una trasformazione in cui elementi visivi, testuali e musicali esplodono in una miriade di frammenti dispersi equamente nello spazio virtuale e reale.


"slabs, tape, notebook" is a work of music-fiction that revolves around the reconstruction of a music scene that never existed. The exhibition, which will take place from October 18 to 31, 2025, at Artemisia Galleria in Thiene presents for the first time visual, sculptural, textual, and audio documents from this imaginary civilization.
The project, initially developed by Andrea Cera and Christophe Kihm, explores the dissolution of the "Musical Persona" in digital culture.
"slabs, tape, notebook" can be seen as an evolution of the "concept album" format, a transformation in which visual, textual, and musical elements explode into a myriad of fragments scattered equally across virtual and real space.

Mi sono avvicinata a We Have Zero Visibility, il progetto del musicista e compositore Andrea Cera silenziosamente, lentamente, con un pò di remore, conoscendo alcuni suoi progetti precedenti, molto interessanti, ma anche impegnativi all’ascolto.

In questo caso l’attrito, la contaminazione, il coinvolgimento sono stati totali e immediati, tali da rendermi talmente partecipe da arrivare ad intraprendere un viaggio, con Cera ,verso una terra che in una dimensione spazio temporale  reale non esiste, ma che si formula e si concretizza nei suoi 2 brani e nelle 46 pagine da lui scritte, fino ad arrivare a trasformarmi in parte integrante della storia, principalmente tramite la scrittura.

Nasco come Belinda Guerriero, proprietaria della Galleria Artemisia, presso la quale l’ intero progetto verrà esposto in ottobre 2025. Scivolo dentro la trama della prima parte del progetto dal titolo We Have Zero Visibility e mi estendo alla seconda parte slabs, tape, notebook. Gli aspetti di indagine sono molti: musicali, letterari, artistici e archeologici. Il luogo, l’altopiano di Ahvani si materializza davanti a me e diviene esistente.

Lo visitiamo e viviamo un processo di “mise en abyme”, il musicista Andrea Cera ed io, la gallerista. La storia entra nella storia e si fa più reale allontanandoci simultaneamente dal reale.
Lentamente subiamo entrambi una perdita di identità.
Avviene uno scambio di personalità e io sento più appropriata a me, nel rapportarmi anche ad un ipotetico pubblico, il personaggio di Eve Nesti: è lei che riesce a continuare a cercare Evar Oristoy, il musicista de The Thrizsters, scomparso da qualche mese.

L’unica via è, e sarà sempre, la musica, che probabilmente sopravviverà a tutti noi.
MARGINALISED NOTES OF A POSSIBLE PROJECT

I approached We Have Zero Visibility, the project of musician and composer Andrea Cera silently, slowly, with a bit of retrance, knowing some of his previous projects, very interesting, but also challenging to listen to.

In this case the friction, the contamination, the involvement were total and immediate, such as to make me so involved as to embark on a journey, with Cera, to a land that in a real space-time dimension does not exist, but that is formulated and in his 2 songs and in the 46 pages he wrote, until I become an integral part of it, mainly through writing.

I was born as Belinda Guerriero, owner of the Artemisia Gallery, where the entire project will be exhibited in October 2025. I slide into the plot of the first part of the project entitled We Have Zero Visibility and I extend to the second part “slabs, tape, notebook”. The aspects of investigation are many: musical, literary, artistic and archeological. The place, the Ahvani plateau materialises before me and becomes existing.

The musician Andrea Cera and I visit and experience a process of “mise en abyme”. 
​The story enters the story and becomes more real by simultaneously moving away from the real.
Slowly we both suffer a loss of identity.
There is an exchange of personalities and I feel more appropriate to me, in relating also to a hypothetical public, the character of Eve Nesti: it is she who manages to continue looking for Evar Oristoy, the musician of The Thrizsters, who has been missing a few months ago.

The only way is still and always the music, which will probably survive all of us.
